Custom books are currently CLOSED, there maybe a few unclaimed handmade knives at various shows.  How I got started. Other than being a knife guy all my life, I reached out to Gene Martin of Provision Forge who made a few blanks for me before my shop was set-up, I finished one of these in 2015 and one in 2016 then began gathering tools required to make my own.  I owe an enormous thank you to all of the experienced makers who have spent time with me discussing various aspects of knife making and offering encouragement.  These makers start (in attempted chronological order) with Gene Martin, Smith and Son's (the whole family), Jerry Hossom, Thys Meades, Mike Stuart (Ekim Knives), Todd Begg, Stan Wilson, Walter Sorrells, David Boyette, Jeff Ellis, Josh Fisher, Karis Fisher, Zack Jonas, Chad Pirtle, John Conner (Redmeadow Knives), Tim Knotts, Matt Jaynes, Aaron Gough, Jimmy Schmitz, Bubba Roach (A.T.K.), Phillip Booth, Joe McNeely, D.
